Lucknow: At his best for upbraiding the BSP chief and Chief Minister Mayawati for ignoring the interests of common man, SP patriarch Mulayam Singh categorically said that the ruling establishment in Uttar Pradesh is in neck-deep corruption and urged voters to root out the BSP government.

Mulayam Singh, addressing rallies at Barabanki and Faizabad, said that the Mayawati government has deprived people of their jobs and is playing up with their sentiments. “The state government scrapped the appointments of 18700 soldiers made during the SP regime, giving a big jolt to their families,” he added.

Mulayam said, “Mayawati has captured lands worth thousand crore rupees between Lucknow and Ghaziabad. Playing with the poor, the BSP government has just minted money in the last five years.”

In a bid to woo voters, he promised of giving free education to girls, allowances to the unemployed lots and waiver of farmer's loan by Rs 50,000.

Urging people to vote for SP, he made announcements of distributing free blankets, sarees and motorised rickshaw among the poor every year. He also promised of granting Rs 25000 to girls for pursuing higher education, if his party is voted to power.
