Minister of State for Personnel and Public Grievances Jitendra Singh said on Thursday that the government's decision on the UPSC row will be a balanced and satisfactory one.

He further urged the students to maintain patience as the government is concerned about the issue.

It may be mentioned here that UPSC aspirants have been protesting vociferously against the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) examination, which was introduced in 2011, and demanded that it be made easy for rural students.

The aspirants have been objecting to the aptitude test and English language questions asked in the CSAT-II paper, claiming those were much above the standard prescribed for the examination.
