"Ministry of Home Affairs and Defence Ministry have taken this very seriously. We won’t tolerate this," MoS for Defence Subhash Bhamre said.
"Unfortunately our 17 soldiers lost their lives, 4 terrorists killed. Firing stopped after 8 am. It is believed that all the terrorists have been neutralised.

Attack took place at the administrative section," Bhamre added. "Fire broke out in the tents and building because of the firing," he cited.

"We condemn the attack. Our condolences to the family of the soldiers who have lost their lives," Congress leader Jitendra Singh said.
