Wasting no time, AMU vice-chancellor Lt General Zameeruddin Shah took cognizance of the discussion going on Facebook over the terrorist attack in Uri. After sensing the seriousness of the issue, Lt General Zameeruddin Shah expelled the student after probing the matter.

AMU vice-chancellor clearly notified that the university will not tolerate any anti-national sentiments.

“There was no scope at AMU for tolerating any incident which smacked of anti-national sentiments,” said AMU vice-chancellor.

SSP of Aligarh, Rajesh Pandey personally probed the matter and filed a case against the student who is pursuing M.Sc from AMU.

“We have also registered a case in Civil Lines PS regarding the same,” added Rajesh Pandey.
