Washington: Leading an interagency delegation to New Delhi, US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs, Kurt Campbell, is expected to arrive next week to hold dialogue with his Indian counterpart on East Asian Affairs.

"Assistant Secretary Campbell will lead a delegation to India, on April 4, where he will meet with counterparts from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and co-chair the third US-India dialogue on East Asian affairs," the State Department said in a statement.

After India, Campbell would travel to Singapore and China. On April 6, he will travel to Singapore to meet with senior officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

Campbell is scheduled to arrive in Beijing on April 7.

"While there, he will meet with senior government officials to prepare for the upcoming Strategic and Economic Dialogue and to discuss a broad range of bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest," the statement said.
