The resounding success of BJP can be gauged from the fact that the saffron party’s aggregate tally in UP is more than the total number of seats won by the Congress in 30 states.

Rajnath Singh-led party now faces the challenge to maintain its mojo till the assembly elections and the proposal to implement ‘Shah Agenda’ in Uttar Pradesh has got green signal.

The state is now all set to get painted in Amit Shah’s colours and the organizational activities are set to gain pace in June.

Besides, the BJP will have to strengthen its base in Uttar Pradesh mainly in the view of Modi choosing to represent Varanasi seat. After Delhi, NaMo wave would be pit to test in Lucknow as well once the saffron party-led NDA forms government at the Centre.

A quick look at the overall tally of Lok Sabha seats points towards this fact that the BJP has emerged ‘Number One’ in 332 assembly segments. In order to maintain this lead, the party, apart from keeping the youth wing together will also have to move along with the Backward as well as Extremely Backward Classes.

The strategy, which was applied during Lok Sabha elections, is now going to be implemented in district levels as well so that the action plan can be designed and drafted according to the localized and caste-based issues and the BJP is likely to hit the streets on June to stress on the problems.

Party to create interest in Students Union

In order to keep the Modi wave alive, the party’s role in Students’ Union is going to get increased. Since Amit Shah was associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), his role would be deemed important in mobilizing and generating support.

The party also gained from bestowing additional responsibilities of ABVP leader Sunil Bansal, who was co-in-charge of the Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh, along with state secretaries Anoop Gupta and Dayashankar Singh, who has ABVP background.

According to sources, the ABVP will pump in all its strength to win the students’ union elections in colleges and universities in the new academic session.

Besides, Shah’s agenda also encompasses the three-tier panchayati elections, which would be held in 2015.

New social engineering to be crafted in UP

In order to stem ‘casteism politics’ adopted by the SP and the BSP, the BJP has hinted to craft a new social engineering in the state. Shah’s decision to promote anti-Jatav in the Dalits and anti-Yadav in the Backwards has worked in favour of the saffron party during the Lok Sabha polls. The party is also going to give equal representation to every caste.

Trinity to get empowered

Apart from UP BJP chief Lakshmikant Vajpayee, Shiv Pratap Shukla and Swantradeo Singh and Mahendra Singh will be given major say in the days to come. All the three leaders fit well into local caste equations.
