Lucknow: In order to maintain the chain of efforts for ascertaining quality education in Uttar Pradesh, the state officials are all set to conduct surprise visits to schools.

Officers of Directorate of Education (DoE) would accompany the education officers of Board of High School and Intermediate Education during the visits proposed from next week.

During their surprise visits the officers would look into the condition of education and attendance of students and teachers in the schools.

It should be noted that Secondary Education Minister Rangnath Mishra himself took the charge of looking after the condition of education in the state post results of board exams this year which were not up to the expectations.

After that, the Education Minister took part in all seminars aimed at upgrading the education scenario in Uttar Pradesh.

However, the education officers who will pay surprise visits to schools would have to submit reports ascertaining whether the directions given by the Education Ministers to the schools are being followed or not.
