Bahraich (UP): BSP has denied party tickets to Uttar Pradesh Ayurvedic Medicine Minister Daddan Misra and another sitting MLA for the state Assembly polls, due on February next year.

"BSP Chief Mayawati has denied party ticket to Misra expressing displeasure over his functioning. The party would field Abdul Rahim Khan from Bhinga seat in Shravasti district in his place," BSP zonal coordinator Udaybhan Gautam told party workers at a meeting here.

The party has also decided to change Brij Kuvari Singh, sitting MLA from Karnailganj seat in Gonda district, and instead field her brother Ajay Pratap Singh alias Lallan Bhaiya in her place, he said.

The party which had earlier given ticket to Babu Khan, son of the sitting MLA Gulam Ahmed Khan from Kaiserganj seat in Gonda has now decided to field Khalid Ahmed Khan, Gautam said.
