New Delhi:  Uttarakhand High Court has issued a notice to Revenue Minister, Diwakar Bhatt on Monday while hearing a Public Interest Litigation filed by Bharat Heavy Electrical Bhoomi Visthapit Samiti (BHEBVS) on the land allotment to BHEL in Haridwar.

BHEBVS in its PIL has informed the High Court that eight thousand acres of land were acquired for the construction of BHEL at Haridwar in 1962.
