Dehradun: Focusing on the upcoming assembly elections scheduled in 2012, the Uttarakhand government led by Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has launched an ‘Operation Image Making’ to portray a positive picture of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state.

Taking the command in his own hands, the Chief Minister has instructed the administrative team to immediately furnish the details regarding the publicity and advertising of various public welfare schemes launched by the state government.

The thrust of the BJP move is to check out whether the public welfare schemes have benefitted the target people or not. The state officials have been given a 24-hour time span by the CM to furnish the details in a proper format.

In an effort to reach out to the masses, the state government is concentrating on highlighting it’s achievement in the various districts and blocks.

The CM intends to focus on the major decisions and policies taken in the fields of health, medical education, industrial development, tourism, disaster management, transportation, military welfare, public works, food and supplies, forest-environment, power, urban development, rural development, education and social welfare.
