Jaipur: In order to return to power in Rajasthan, former Chief Minister and newly appointed state BJP president Vasundhara Raje is all set to launch ‘Parivartan Yatra’ ahead of assembly poll.

Vasundhara Raje will tour all the 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan. Leader of Opposition in state assembly Gulab Chand Kataria will also accompany her during the yatra campaign.

For the first time after her appointment as BJP’s state unit chief, Vasundhara on Thursday will reach Jaipur from Delhi by road. She will set off the campaign at 9 am in the morning and it will take 10 hours to complete it.

During the campaign, Vasundhara will address about fifty public meetings followed by a rally at Jaipur. She will assume the charge as chief of BJP’s state unit on Friday.

Several senior BJP leaders including Arun Jaitely, party’s national secretary Bhupendra Yadav and party’s state-in-charge Saudan Singh will grace the occasion.

The former Chief Minister will start her ambitious ‘Parivartan Yatra’ from religious place Gogamedi in April this year.

BJP’s top brass LK Advani, Rajnath Singh and Narendra Modi will be present at the launch of the tour. Senior leaders from all the constituencies will address the public gatherings during the scheduled programme.

Notably, Vasundhara Raje had launched a similar ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in the year 2003-2004 after which party returned to power in the state.
