New Delhi: Vice President Hamid Ansari on Wednesday released a book exploring India's role in world affairs penned by Shashi Tharoor.
Ansari said "Pax Indica: India and the World of the 21st Century" was a timely and thought-provoking work on a subject "that is very much in the public domain".
"Tharoor has offered the term 'Multi-Alignment'. Others have suggested 'Nonalignment 2.0'. Both seek to depict a menu of options in a new, very complex, world. Both need to be debated seriously to avoid strategic confusion," he said at the book launch.
Tharoor, a former Minister of State for External Affairs, is a member of Lok Sabha from Thiruvananthapuram.
