"The state government has exempted film 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' from entertainment tax on screening in cinema houses," an official release said.
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, the film is a romantic drama and is set to hit theaters this Friday.
Balan and Suri recently met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his wife Sadhna at the latter's official residence as a courtesy.

This is Emraan and Vidya's third film together, after the 2011 hit 'Dirty Picture' and later an unsuccessful 'Ghanchakkar' in 2013. 'Humari Adhuri Kahani' also stars Rajkummar Rao in a pivotal role. The movie marks Emraan's return to Vishesh Films after a gap of three years.

The 35-year-old actor, who is also Bhatt's nephew, gave hits with his banner like 'Murder', 'Murder 2' and 'Jannat'. His last film with Bhatt was 'Raaz 3D' in 2012
