Mumbai: The Crime Branch of Mumbai police have got new leads in the ongoing investigation of IPL-6 spot-fixing case especially with regard to the role of film actor Vindoo Dara Singh.

The sources say that some CCTV footages accessed by the police reveal that Vindoo used to supply models and young girls to cricketers and umpires in order to lure them for fixing the matches. Vindoo had reportedly paid Rs 1 lakh for one night to these girls. It is also said that police have questioned two such models who appeared in the CCTV footage.

It’s worth mentioning that cops had earlier stated that small-time actor Vindoo Dara Singh has admitted to have supplied girls to bookies. Meanwhile, Vindoo’s police custody on Tuesday has been extended till May 31 after he was produced before a court on Tuesday.

Virendra Randhawa alias Vindoo, actor and son of Dara Singh, was arrested on May 21 for his alleged link to the cricket bookies. This is for the first time in the current T20 spot fixing scandal investigation that a Bollywood celebrity has been booked.
