Kangara/ Gaggal: Accusing the BJP government in Himachal Pradesh of patronizing the land mafia, Union minister Virbhadra Singh demanded the government to cancel the allotment of land to Baba Ramdev.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, he said, “Baba Ramdev should have acted constitutionally on the issue of corruption. In democracy, everyone has a right to put forth his idea, but the way should be proper.”

Attacking the BJP government, he said, “Land mafia has got patronization of the government. The head of the state is indulged in encouraging the mafia.”

Reiterating Congress’ commitment to weed out corruption, Virbhadra highlighted that the issue finds mention in the Congress manifesto and the government would retrieve black money in legal ways.

Earlier, addressing party workers in Kangra Tandon Club, Virbhadra slammed the BJP government saying that the party has been taking credits of works initiated by the previous Congress government.

Virbhadra also played down the reports of any rift between him and other party leaders.
