Vivek Oberoi came out to clean the famous Juhu Beach of Mumbai as part of the cleanliness campaign along with the volunteers of Cancer Patient Aid Association (CPAA).

Vivek who has been associated with Cancer patients for a long time, was there to teach the young children the art of keeping one’s environment clean.

Speaking on the event Vivek said “I am associated with the CPAA (Cancer Patients Aid Association) as its brand ambassador since 12 years. The organization does some brilliant work. So when CPAA was nominated (to participate in Swachh Bharat campaign) I gave them my commitment that I will come here.”

"Juhu Beach is a very important part of our lives. So, whenever it gets dirty and its beauty diminishes, we feel bad because it's a tourist place, people from all over the world come here to see it and it is even shown in many films. So it brings a bad name to us, and that's why I thought of cleaning Juhu Beach," he added.

The 38 year old actor who has been very open about his support to PM Narendra Modi and his endeavours, also emphasized on the importance of cleanliness in ones life.

Bollywood celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Javed Akhtar, Subhash Ghai and Prasoon Joshi have also been part of the Prime Minister's cleanliness campaign.
