A Vodafone release said it was offering data transfer speed of up to 21.1 mbps from the 3G mobile wi-fi device, which would be available at Rs 2,399.
The company said the mobile wi-fi would be available in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai and would be launched in a phased manner.
The mobile wi-fi devise allows sharing of a mobile broadband connection with up to 10 users through standard wi-fi operation and can be connected without a power source, it added.

Idea launches 2G data plan for BlackBerry OS 7

Idea Cellular, nation’s third largest and fastest growing mobile operator on Wednesday launched a special 1GB data plan for people using BlackBerry OS 7 devices.

This plan can be used by people having postpaid number of the company. As per the plan, one can avail BIS 1 GB 2G plan at just Rs 83 per month, with an annual rental plan of Rs 999, taxes extra.

To activate the plan, Idea user just needs to SMS ‘ACT999ARP’ to 12345. The offer is available to all Idea postpaid users on BlackBerry OS7 devices.
