1. Dudhsagar waterfall, Goa:

Goa not only boasts of some of the most luxurious beaches but it is also home to the beautiful Dudhsagar waterfall, which is amongst the best waterfalls in India. This fall is the fifth largest in India and is 60 km away from Panaji, the capital of Goa.

2. Jog falls, Karnataka:

Located in Sagara Taluk in Karnataka, this is one of the major tourist attractions of the region. Jog falls drop from a staggering 259 metres. They are also known by the names Gersoppa falls and Jogada Gundi.

3. Nuranang Falls, Arunachal Pradesh:

In the North-East, Arunachal Pradesh is blessed with one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India; the Nuranang Falls, which are situated about 40 kms from Tawang town and make for a treasured tourist attraction of the state.

4. Bhimlat falls, Rajasthan:

Rajasthan is a dry desert region of our country, but that should not let you miss out on the Bhimlat waterfall. Dropping from a height of 60 metres, you will feel like one with these falls.

5. Chitrakote waterfalls, Chhattisgarh:

Chitrakote waterfalls are only 29 metres tall, but what makes them breathtaking is their massive circumference. During the rainy season, i.e., from July to October, the sky is filled with rainbows that are created with sun rays reflecting on mist from the waterfall. So, do visit this place to beat the scorching heat and experience a heavenly sight.
