Kolkata: Beleaguered West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who is facing piles of political and administrative problems has now decided to show the exit door to many dissident ministers.

According to sources, Cabinet reshuffle is in the offing. It is believed that the portfolios of the Congress ministers will also be changed. Besides, Mamata who is also looking after Health, Transport, Public Works departments, is also mulling over reducing burden.
Official sources said, “Non-performing ministers would be replaced by new faces. However, only after a thorough assessment of the performance of the Cabinet ministers, Mamata would reshuffle portfolios.”    

It is believed that Mamata who has kept many important portfolios with her may include few state ministers to share the responsibility. The prospect of Mayoor Shobjan Chaterjee to become a minister is also high as he may be offered Sunderban Development department. Shobhandev may be given the responsibility of parliamentary affairs. 

Sources said that the CM is satisfied with the performances of Commerce and Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee, Finance Minister Amit Mitra, North Bengal Development Minister Gautam Deb, Agriculture Minister Manish Gupta, Marketing Minister Arup Roy.
