London, Jan 08 (Agencies): Actor Johnny Depp believes that the fourth installment of ‘Pirates of Caribbean’ will be a treat for the audience.

Playing ‘Captain Jack Sparrow’ in the movie, he also said that he owed it to his fans.

"The thing with 'Pirates 4', I felt like we owed it to people," Depp said.

He added that 'Pirates 2 and 3' became quite sub-plotty and people went to see them two or three times just to figure out what was happening.

Filmmaker Rob Marshall of the 'Chicago' fame will take over the reigns for the fourth film from Gore Verbinski who directed the previous three due to the latter's inability to return.
