"The Prime Minister travels to various nations but there is hardly any result from these visits for India," Congress spokesperson R P N Singh told reporters here.

Referring to the 3.1 billion USD deal with US defence major Boeing ahead of the Prime Minister's visit, Singh said this meant 'Make in America' is going to benefit from such trips, and not his much-hyped 'Make in India'.

While the Prime Minister is paying frequent visit to various nations, even countries like Nepal are raising questions about some of India's actions, Singh said. The Congress spokesperson also hit back at BJP for taking potshots at party vice-president Rahul Gandhi over his visit to the US.

"Stop being obsessed with Rahul Gandhi. Instead of targeting the Congress vice-president, BJP should focus on fulfilling the promises made to people," he added.

Earlier in the day, BJP leader Sambit Patra said Gandhi's US trip might be a 'forced vacation' as Congress' allies, JD(U) and RJD, wanted him out of the Bihar poll campaign.
