"We are aiming for a growth of 15 percent and sales turnover of Rs 850 crore during this period and are confident of getting there," said Whirlpool of India Vice-President Corporate Affairs & Strategy Asia South Shantanu Das Gupta.

The company on Thursday launched a range of products across categories: refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwave oven and unveiled a Diwali promotional offer across India. Besides, it said it will spend Rs 20 crore for the promotional multi-media campaigns during the season, Whirlpool said in a release.

Under the offer, the company would provide assured gifts as gift hamper. The consumer will also be entitled to a scratch card through which a hair dryer worth Rs 725 or a gift hamper worth Rs 2,880 could be won.
