The 8.40 percent government securities maturing in CG2024 traded at Rs 375.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.50 percent, the 8.60 percent government securities maturing in CG2028 traded at Rs 310.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.65 percent and the 182-days Treasury bills (issue no.181214) traded at Rs 350.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.60 percent, the NSE release said.
During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 15,562.32 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 343.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was Rs 4,423.71 crore on Sep 11, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 2,503.05 crore as on September 8, 2014.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 8.63 percent, 8.66 percent, 8.62 percent and 8.70 percent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 8.48 percent, it was 8.62 percent for bills of 91- 182 days tenure, and 8.66 percent for bills of 183-365 days tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 11,069.17 crore trading in Non-Government securities was at Rs 4,493.15 crore, representing 71.13 percent and 28.87 percent of the total traded value respectively, the NSE release said.
