BJP chief Amit Shah on Friday condemned the statements made by several political leaders over ‘proof of surgical strikes’ and asked them to refrain from taking any political mileage of the acts of the Indian Armed Forces.

Amit Shah was addressing a press conference at BJP headquarters over surgical strikes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi told his ministers and party leaders to avoid 'chest thumping' on the strikes in PoK carried out by the Indian Army.

BJP president started the conference with a congratulatory note to media houses for showing solidarity with the stance of India on strikes on terror launch-pads established in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and boosting the morale of the armed forces post the surgical strikes.

“I congratulate the media for the role it has played in boosting the morale of the armed forces after surgical strikes”, said Amit Shah.

Shah raised the pitch over doubting the surgical strikes and the demands of releasing videos of the strikes that may risk the security of the nation.

Lashing out at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi over his ‘Khoon Ki Dalali’ remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah said, “Who are you trying to question, the brave Indian Army? Kejriwal supporting Pakistan is trending in the social media in Pakistan. When Rahul Gandhi used the term ‘khoon ki dalaali’, he crossed all limits. Using the word ‘dalali’ shows your mindset.”
