Srinagar: Hardline separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani on Sunday said that he would protect their Hindu brethren if they returned to the Valley. “We are incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits and are waiting for their return home,” said Geelani.

The separatist leader met the displaced youngsters at the Vessu, Kulgam, Mattan and Anantnag district. “I feel happy that our children are returning to the valley to secure jobs,” says Geelani.

The state government wants to divide Hindus and Muslims by providing separate colonies to the Pandits, which we will never allow to take place, the separatist leader added.

We want that our Pandits brethren live together like before. In the last 20 year they have faced several problems, added the leader.

It is estimated that around 350 Kashmiri pundits have returned to the Valley for securing jobs.
