Udaipur: Among the Indian guests at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday will be 'desi' royal Raghav Raj Singh of Shivrati, who studied with William and also played polo with him.

Raghav, 31, the current 'maharajsahib' of Shivrati, a jaagir in the former princely state of Udaipur, will be accompanied by his wife Shailja at the wedding of William, the second-in-line to the British throne.

He studied with Prince William in London and developed friendship with him during his stay in England. They also shared a common interest in Polo and played together, family sources said.

Kate is reportedly associated with the family's Shivrati Trust which works for the underprivileged in Udaipur.
