Bangalore, (Jagran News Network): Coming down heavily on Indian players’ comments of dedicating the World Cup win to master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, former Australia skipper, Steve Waugh slammed Indian players saying, they are not displaying the right attitude and they should win the Cup for the entire nation rather than an individual.

“You should win it for the country and not for an individual. Dedicating the World Cup to Sachin is not the right attitude.”

Many Indian players, including skipper MS Dhoni has said time and again that they want to win the Cup for Sachin Tendulkar, as it will be the final WC for the master blaster.

Tendulkar, who has featured in five World Cups, has not been fortunate enough to be a part of the WC winning team and had revealed that it is his dream to lay hands on the coveted title.

Every member of the squad holds high regards for the legendary batsman and will look to give their best shot in the forthcoming WC to make Tendulkar’s dream come true.
