"We are appealing to the people to vote through 'Delhi Votes' messages which are being flashed on the LCD screens installed inside the low-floor buses," said DTC spokesperson RS Minhas.
Minhas said that some posters featuring Olympic-medallist wrestler Sushil Kumar, too, have been installed on DTC buses. An awareness campaign was launched by Election Commission on Sunday on Delhi Metro to increase the voter turnout in the upcoming polls.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Delhi had recorded around 64 percent polling in the battle for seven seats while in the 2013 Assembly polls, the national capital had seen over 66 percent voting.

Over 1.33 crore voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in Delhi with a total of 11,763 polling stations to be set up for the exercise.
Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer recently roped in Kumar to encourage people, especially youths, to cast their vote. According to EC, around one lakh government employees will be involved in the conduct of the poll.
