New Delhi: In another shocking incident of crime against women, a tribal woman was allegedly gang raped by six men in front of her husband on district hospital premises in Mayurbhanj in (Odisha).
The incident took place when the 25-year-old tribal woman along with her husband went to see his ailing brother in a district hospital in Mayurbhanj.

According to report, a group of six men started passing lewd comments on her. When her husband protested, the accused thrashed and tied him to a tree on the hospital premises. The accused allegedly took turns to rape the woman in front of her husband. Shockingly, the people remained mute spectators.

The victim later lodged an FIR with the police. All the six accused have been arrested and sent for the medical examination.

Protesting against the incident, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha staged a demonstration at the district collectorate and demanded Rs50 lakh compensation and speedy justice to the victim.
