The book, to be distributed free of cost across the state, will also contain around 70 helpline and emergency numbers, they said.
The handbook will give women an outlook about various pro-women laws and regulations, Commission member secretary K K Prasanna Kumar said.
"Details of about 20 laws which protect the interests of women in the society, including in home and office are there in the handbook. Besides this, a number of important contact numbers which women can use during the time of emergencies are also there," he said.
The helpline numbers include those of police, cyber crime cell, childline, she-taxi and railway and highway police alerts.
Details and contact numbers of district protection and social justice officials and women outfits and organisations are also in the handbook, he said.
Minister for Panchayat and Social Justice M K Muneer will release the book at a function in Kasaragod on Friday as part of four-day-long social justice day celebrations, Commission officials here said.
