It will be organized to celebrate Parents' Day (July 28) that falls on the fourth Sunday of July.

An initiative by, an online portal, it is aimed at solving challenges that today's parents face in the world of nuclear families.

"Urban parents are on a constant lookout for relevant and credible solutions and support from their fellow parents and experts," a statement said here Thursday.

"New set of challenges like lack of an extended family support, swamped work schedule, ascending expenses along with busy and stressful lifestyles make it difficult for parents to strike a balance between work and what they want to do for their child," it added.

In the workshop, parents would be able to interact with experts on issues and problems they face.
Topics like introducing your child to gadgets, internet and media, right nutrition and diet for your children, choosing right pre-school or school for your child, handling aggression and behavioral issues in children, healthy pregnancy, conceiving and surrogacy, and parenting a teenager will be discussed.
