Indian team has never been defeated by Pakistan in an ICC event and with today's win, it managed to keep that record intact.

India won the toss and chose to bowl first in the marquee clash which was delayed by rain and reduced to 18 overs per side. With the fall of three early wickets, it seemed like a lost battle for India but Kohli and Yuvraj helped the side to overcome the loss.

For Pakistan, Shoaib Malik (26) and Ahmed Shehzad (25) played the most important innings and handed India a 119-run target on a bowler-friendly Eden Gardens pitch today.
