Dubai: An elite field consisting of 57 top golfers in the world will battle it out at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

The field includes 28 winners -- Scottish Open winner, Jeev Milkha Singh -- from The 2012 European Tour International Schedule -- including World no. one and Race to Dubai champion, Rory McIlroy who will all contest at the USD 8 million prize fund and a share of the USD 3.75 million Bonus Pool awarded to the top ten.

Interestingly, anyone of the top 34 players of the Race to Dubai could still finish in the top ten with victory at Jumeirah Golf Estates and pick up a bonus.

Major Champions Paul Lawrie of Scotland (currently tenth) and Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell (ninth) -- and even last year's Harry Vardon Trophy winner, England's Luke Donald (eighth) -- will all be under pressure to perform and stay on in top-10.

Apart from McIlroy, the current World No.1, five former European number ones -- Lee Westwood (2000 and 2009), Padraig Harrington (2006), Justin Rose (2007), Martin Kaymer (2010) and Donald (2011) -- feature in the field.

Overall, the field includes a total of 52 European Tour champions, including Branden Grace, a four-time winner this season.
