London: A hotel in Jukkasjarvi has been built with the help of 2,000 tons of river ice and 3,000 tons of " snice " - a combination of ice and snow used to stop the structure from collapsing.

The breathtaking Ice hotel is an ongoing art-project that covers 59,200 sq. ft.

Artists from around the world flock to the Icehotel every winter to add their unique touch and perhaps even make a room or a sculpture to add to the ever changing surroundings, a media reported.

Guests are advised to pack multiple pairs of thermals, as they will sleep on ice mattresses, which will be covered with reindeer skins.

They can get a drink at the Ice Bar or even tie the knot at the ice chapel.
