Earlier, Xiaomi sold 20,000 unit of its Mi3 smartphone within a few seconds on August 19.

The e-commerce site has been organizing Xiaomi Mi3‘s sale for the last few weeks and has crashed every time due to tremendous traffic leaving many buyers disappointed.

The striking feature of Mi3 flash sale procedure is that once the customer adds the product to its cart it will be marked as sold and customer can further complete the purchase formalities.

Xiaomi has attracted the Indian prospective consumers to a great extent. Last week, in its fourth flash sale, the company claimed that it sold 20,000 Mi 3 units in 2.4 seconds.

Mi 3, Xiaomi is the first handset manufacturer to offer an Android smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset below the Rs 15,000 mark.

The Xiaomi Mi 3 runs a highly tweaked version of Android 4.4 KitKat, called MIUI version 5. It comes with a 5-inch full-HD LCD display (1080x1920 pixels) offering a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8274AB) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.

The device comes with a 16 GB inbuilt storage, however does not provide the expandable memory feature. It is adorned with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a 2-megapixel front shooter.
