According to the new figures, Chinese domestic brands will continue to dominate its smartphone market in the remaining half of 2015 as well.
Xiaomi, a late entrant to the Chinese smartphone market which effectively used social channels for marketing, achieved new records for sales volume during the second quarter and retained top spot with a 18 percent market share.
Huawei also climbed up to second place, securing for itself a market share of 16 percent, riding high on the success of its heavily promoted giant version of P8 phablet.
The world's most valuable public company, Apple retained third spot with a market share of 12 percent, while Vivo bagged the fourth spot maintaining a market share of 10 percent, state-run People's Daily reported.
Korean electronics giant Samsung, once the top smartphone vendor in China, fell to fifth position with a market share of 9 percent only, despite launching its flagship phone, the Galaxy S6.
In 2010, CMNet market revenue was 17.2 billion yuan (USD 2.8 billion), it is estimated to expand to 251 billion Yuan (USD 41.8 billion) in five years, the report added.
