The smartphone comes with 55-inch 1080p IPS display and a full HD resolution. It is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The device features a two megapixel front camera and a 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual flash. It also offers dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and Wi-Fi Direct.

Along with its bellwether model Mi3, Xiaomi may also launch its entry-level Redmi smartphone in India.
The Redmi model comes with a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display; it has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It is adorned with an eight megapixel rear and 1.3 megapixel front camera. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
