The company is abandoning the flash sale approach to enable the potential customers to purchase the device any time.

The company tweeted through its official India handle, "Good news! We now have sufficient stock of #RedmiNote4G for all Mi fans. No registration required, open sale starts on Feb 12th @Flipkart."  Xiaomi also added that the phone will also be available offline through select Airtel outlets.

Previously, Xiaomi had planned an open sale for Redmi Note 4G in January, during the Republic Day weekend as well but it did not disclose the number of units company sold off during that period along with in how much time all the units were sold.

Priced at Rs 9,999, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G features 5.5-inch 720 pixels display and 13 MP rear camera with LED flash. Also, it has 5 MP front snapper and the smartphone works upon 1.6 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G comes with a 3,100 mAh battery and has only one SIM card slot unlike its 3G version which has dual-SIM slot. Xiaomi entered India with online retailer Flipkart.com in July, selling phones through flash sales whereby availability is limited to short time frames.

The online strategy cuts down on marketing and distribution costs, allowing Xiaomi to sell feature-rich phones at low prices. But it seems that the comp-any has revised its plan for consumer's convenience.
