Haridwar:  Yoga Guru Ramdev, who launched Satyagraha against corruption and black money, continues to maintain his vow of silence on Monday.  It still remains uncertain about the period of his ‘Maunvrat’ as sources had claimed that he would end it on Monday.

Ramdev has been meeting his close aides ever since he returned to Patanjali Yogpeeth from Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Dehra Dun.

Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing at the Patanjali Yogpeeth for the ‘yoga shivir’ to be held on July 1.

Earlier, the Yoga Guru had taken a solemn oath of keeping with himself at phase-1 of Patanjali Yogapeeth, and did not meet his followers.

Since Patanjali Yogapeeth witnesses a lot of mass movement, Ramdev had been shifted to Yog Gram, which is situated in Aurangabad.

Meanwhile, Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice to Ramdev’s Bharat Swabhiman Trust and sought to know their stand on the mid-night police action on Ramdev and his followers following the affidavit submitted by the Delhi Police.

A vacation bench comprising Justices P Sathasivam and A K Patnaik issued notice to Acharya Virendra Vikram, the President of the Delhi chapter of Bharat Swabhiman Trust.

Justifying its action, the police had said the authorities had given permission to Baba Ramdev to use the ground only to hold a yoga camp but the following day around one lakh supporters assembled to the ground.

The Apex Court seeks to know the version of Bharat Swabhiman Trust on the claims made by the Delhi Police.
