Dehradun: Barely 24 hours after the Uttarakhand government recommended a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the disappearance of Guru Shankar Dev Singh, teacher of Baba Ramdev, the yoga guru on Saturday flayed the Gandhis and ruling Congress.

The yoga guru upped the ante on Gandhis and alleged foul-play behind the deaths of their own family members, while deeming them ‘murderers’.

Referring to the probe into the disappearance of his teacher, Ramdev said that a similar probe must be ordered into the death of Rajendra Kashyap, father of Robert Vadra, who is the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

The irked yoga guru went to the extent of alleging Congress’ hand behind the deaths of former president Lal bahadur Shastri, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Deen Dayal Upadhay.
However, he welcomed the move to probe his teacher’s disappearance but also added, he believes the probe would not be impartial.

Notably, Guru Shankar Dev Singh, an ayurveda expert, has been missing since 2007.
Also, Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh had last month raised the issue, saying something was wrong in the matter.
