New Delhi: Given the uncertainty of the Baba Ramdev’s agitation at Ramlila ground over its next course of action, the government has decided not to hold talks with the yoga guru on line of the Team Anna which ultimately broke fast with the announcement of entering into the electoral politics.

Despite Ramdev’s announcement that he will start ‘Mahakranti’ on Sunday, the government is unlikely to make compromise with the yoga guru.

The government is of view that if Ramdev gives any indirect indication of joining politics, it will be a victory for the ruling dispensation which can corner the yoga guru on this front. It is being said that the next step of Ramdev will be the gherao of Parliament.

After the end of Ramdev’s three-day fast on Saturday, he neither broke fast nor appealed others to break it.

Meanwhile, the yoga guru warned the government that if his demands are not met, he will start ‘Mahakranti’ on Sunday. He may approach the President Pranab Mukherjee too in this regard.

Given the consequences of Team Anna agitation, the yoga guru wants that the government should come up with a concrete solution so that the stir can be ended on the positive note.

Ramdev has been advocating for floating a political party but the Team Anna’s announcement for entering into the electoral politics put the yoga guru in the catch-22 situation.

Several rounds of talks have been held in the Ramdev camp on Saturday over the current agitation. It has been said that if the government proposes for any talk, the yoga guru will accept them happily.
