Giridih (Jharkhand): A youth, who had married a girl from another community a couple of months ago, was on Wednesday shot at by unknown gunmen in Giridih town, police said.
The youth identified as Rohit Kumar was shot at by the gunmen when he was standing outside his house near Kalibari chowk of the town, they said.
He was rushed to a Nursing Home in Giridih town but as his condition was serious, he was referred to Dhanbad Hospital, they said.
Rohit had married a girl from another community a couple of months ago, the police said.
