New Delhi: In order to infuse young blood in the party, BJP president Rajnath Singh will give priority to youths in his new team which is likely to be announced in next four-five days.

Adhering to the norm of ‘one man one post’, Rajnath Singh will replace several party general secretaries and spokespersons in his new team. The party has already prepared its format.

However, the party is yet to prepare its final list. The newly appointed party president will not find it difficult in giving new shape to his team which has three posts for general secretaries lying vacant. It is assumed that the mass leaders will be given preference in the appointment of general secretaries.

One general secretary can be dispatched to his home state in the position of party in-charge. Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Radha Mohan Singh are likely to be inducted as party general secretaries in the new team.

The names of Prabhat Jha and Muralidhar Rao have been recommended as party general secretaries from the RSS quota. The names of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Varun Gandhi are also doing the rounds for the post of general secretaries. But Modi’s close aide Amit Shah is likely to prevail upon other contenders in the race for posts of general secretaries.

The saffron party is under tremendous pressure to induct Ramapati Ram Tripathi as the party general secretary in the organization. But party sources said that Both Tripathi and fire brand leader Uma Bharti may be accommodated as the vice presidents in the new team.

As far as party spokespersons are concerned, Tarun Vijay and Ramnath Kovind may be shifted to other departments. Some senior leaders are holding dual posts in the Parliament as well as in the party organization. They will be divested off the Parliamentary posts.
