The fourth seed Indian saw off Australia's Jordan Thompson 6-2 6-2 in one hour and 11 minutes in the quarterfinals.

Yuki, who is yet to drop a set in this tournament, did not face a single breakpoint and broke his rival twice in each set.

Yuki won 61 points to 41 of the Australian. "I was solid today. I served well consistently, so that definitely helped," Yuki said after his match.

The 23-year-old Delhi lad is the seeded player left in the tournament as others bit dust. He next faces a tough opponent in Russian qualifier Daniil Medvedev.
